… for another year that is! All those months of planning and preparation, contacting people, pulling together groups of volunteers, lining up speakers and topics, updating the website, the amazing 45 day blog hopping tour and so much more. A team of dedicated (and probably rather crazy) Virtual Assistants have just pulled off the second annual Online International Virtual Assistants Convention with even bigger bang than last year. One of the highlights had to be Fran Capo who delighted us with her fast talking wit and right-to-the-point insights. (If you weren’t listening properly you would have missed them – she was fast!) The line up of presenters we had were outstanding with many well known names in the business world and then equally well known names in the virtual assistant industry. We all took away with us valuable information to apply to our businesses.
Feedback has been excellent and I’m already hearing comments like ‘I can’t wait for next year’. We have a job ahead of us to top what we did in 2007!  But I’m happy to take a break for a little while, before starting to think about 2008 
Finally congratulations to those who won prizes, the two Award winners and last, but not least, the organisers of this fantastic event for our industry. It really makes me proud to be part of what’s taken place.  KMT

Wasn’t Fran Capo the greatest? I found her very positive and inspirational. What a great freebie event to hear her speak at OIVAC. Kathie, it was a joy working with you on the Steering Committee for OIVAC this year and wonder just how we are gonna top this years events next year you know?
