Update on AVAC - VA Conference

As you know the inaugural Australian VA Conference (AVAC) being held in Melbourne, Australia on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 March 2010 is now only a few weeks away. We are looking forward to a great event and the excitement is building.

AVAC Announcements Message

Hi everyone, now that Christmas has passed perhaps you can concentrate on things that might need to be organised before the New Year begins. I know here in Australia most are still on holidays but if you're checking emails then think about getting your booking in. I know many of you have said you are coming but I haven't seen your bookings come in yet.

Great speakers, some from the National Speakers Association, will be in attendance and if you've always wondered about Rob Anderson who manages the tech stuff for OIVAC, he also will be attending and speaking at the event. So you'll be able to talk with him first hand.

Shelley Taylor-Smith is a former Olympic Swimmer who loves to bring out the best in people with her Champion Mindset - and you'll get to wear her gold medal I'm sure! I know I have.

We have a block of rooms booked at Oaks just across the road from the venue but once they're taken you will need to find rooms at other venues nearby. Wotif usually has good selections. And perhaps those of us in Melb could put up one or two visitors from other states. I know I will be although I'll be spending one night at the Oaks to be on deck for the things that are usually required or organisers. Early Bird Bookings closing soon AVAC - VA Conference

As you know the inaugural Australian VA Conference (AVAC) will be held in Melbourne, Australia on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 March 2010. This conference is open to all VAs in any location.

We hope by now you've heard about this exciting event, but if not, then it's not too late to get involved!

We are excited to be putting on a conference for VAs by VAs and we promise you that the lineup will include names well known to many as well as the Virtual Assistant industry. How many VAs have met Rob, for example? Rob is the voice and expertise in the Green Room at the annual OIVAC event. Rob will be speaking at AVAC in person!

Other speakers will touch on a variety of topics that relate to looking after ourselves, our health and welfare, social networking and media tools, how to market our businesses, gaining more clients, selling our services or products online and so on. Something for everyone, whether you're an experienced VA or just starting out.

Plus you get to meet face-to-face many names you will know from the VA forums, probably for the first time in many cases.

Announcing AVAC - VA Conference

The inaugural Australian VA Conference (AVAC) will be held in Melbourne, Australia on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 March 2010. While it's called The �Australian' VA Conference it doesn't mean you can't come if you're not Australian, it simply means it is being run in Australia and everyone is invited.
