Hi everyone, 24th March marks the 18th anniversary of my business being opened. It was National Secretaries Day on 24 March 1994 when I registered my business “A Clayton’s Secretary” and officially announced to the world that I was open for business. Well, announced to anyone I met in Melbourne, Australia, really. The internet wasn’t operating then so I didn’t have any real way of announcing to the world, nor did I envisage wanting to. My focus was on finding clients as close to home as possible so I didn’t have to spend all my time out on the road while my kids were at school. Little was I to know that less than 2 years later I’d be operating a business online and about to start accepting members from around the world into the small network of homebased operators I’d begun to build.
Things can change so quickly! And they can for you too. If you’ve been toying with the idea of setting up a business at home and becoming a Virtual Assistant, but you’ve been nervous about doing so, then let me help soothe your nerves and pave the way for you. Two lucky people this month will receive a 12 month membership to our VA Network, plus 12 months webhosting for their VA business website. WordPress will be included with that, and don’t worry, if you don’t know how to use it, I can guide you in that as well. You do not need to know any web programming to have a website of your own.
What do you have to do to be a winner? Simply indicate your interest in joining our network below in the comments field and submit your application form to become a member. Complete the application, including your resume submission and membership fee. If your name is drawn the membership fee will be refunded to you and a webspace will be set up for you as well. If you need a domain name, then you can register one here for very low cost.
