Not only Australia’s oldest VA Network, but also the second oldest in the world. Established as a network in April 1996, “A Clayton’s Secretary” has witnessed many changes and lots of growth in the Virtual Assistant industry during that time.
Until 31st December, we have a special offer for 12 months’ membership at the price of $99AUD.
You can apply here and follow through with your resume and subscription payment to become a member of this team of Virtual Assistants, with members in many countries. Members should have a minimum of 5 years’ working experience, however, if you have less and want to join, please email Kathie Thomas direct with details of your experience. Why should you have working experience before becoming a VA? Because you need to have the knowledge of how to do what you’ll be offering as a service. You won’t have a ‘boss’ or ‘senior’ person watching over you as you work in your home office, but also you need to be able to liaise with the clients – as they will be your clients. “A Clayton’s Secretary” (or ACS) guides you in setting up your VA business, puts you in contact with other VA members and we also provide opportunity for you to gain clients of your own, but we can’t be with you in your office showing you how to do your work. Hence the importance in having experience.
Want to be a VA but not sure that you know all you need to get started? That’s ok, we have a VA Trainer course that lasts for 10 weeks and is delivered via email. This will certainly help you get set up, work out rates that are right for you and guide you in creating a client base of your own. If you are already running a VA business but still feel the need for guidance, this course may be just what you need! Why not visit www.vatrainer.com for details?
