There are many now pursuing a career as a Virtual Assistant. However, not all manage to find work directly with clients and often locate sources that later appear to be not what they purport to be.
I encourage all who are interested in learning from other Virtual Assistants and gain work from genuine clients, to join Virtual Assistant Networks that have been set up to assist the VA industry. I really can’t say how many there are these days. Quite a few. However, I can tell you that all those listed below are legitimate sources for Virtual Assistant support, training and/or client introductions.
I know there are other options out there however often they mean you don’t get to meet other VAs, converse with them, learn about the industry and generally mix and mingle with your peers. The VA forums and networks provide the perfect opportunity to do that. Meet others who have trodden the same paths you are now. Meet those who have helped forge this industry into what it is today. Meet those who are at the same place you are today in your business. Meet those who are just exploring and following behind you. Just meet other VAs.
